Miriam Embla

Miriam Embla is a Norwegian visual artist and dancer who combines her training in fine art and various styles of middle eastern dance, street styles and contemporary dance to create a highly individual Tribal Fusion dance expression.

After completing her BA in Fine Art at Kingston University in London, she traveled to San Francisco to study with some of the most innovative belly dancers practicing today. She studied both the Suhaila Salimpour and Jamila Salimpour bellydance formats as well as completing  General Skills for ATS® at the FatChanceBellyDance® studio. In 2013, she passed Rachel Brice’s 8 Elements: Initiation. She holds a Level 1 bellydance instructor diploma from Norges Danseforbund (Norwegian Dance Association).

Miriam Embla er en av Norges fremste utøvere av Tribal Fusion magedans og har studert hos flere av verdens viktigste innovatører innen sjangeren. Som instruktør er hun opptatt av å formidle dansen på en måte som gir rom for individualitet, mestring og danseglede.
